Messing about in words by Kent Parkstreet
Short sketches of stories and scenes, like a colouring in book, just the outlines.
“People want to find a meaning in everything and everyone. That's the disease of our age . . . “

This Christmas Morn
On this Christmas morn
I await,
As an innocent
But convicted,
Condemned man awaits,
The sound of the drum
Of the hangman.
I await
The strike of the clock,
The time to walk
From my cell
To join my family
For lunch.
Parkstreet

Happy Christmas, dear Kent. I'm sure the family spared you the gallows. I just had pop ins and they were lovely, especially since I'd overslept (Nowt new in that!). Now Monty and I have quiet time stretching ahead of us. Lovely!
A very belated merry Christmas to you Donna, I just spotted this. My Christmas is a lazy long lunch with friends, and almost Christmas free. We just eat too much then waddle home.
