I’m travelling to Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
Instead of my usual nonsense I’m going to try writing daily, short impressions of a time and place. These may even be impressionist. I’m going with limited vision following eye surgery, I doubt anything I recall will be photographic, or even vaguely accurate.
Zen sketches.
I’m hoping to create a guide for the sort of tourist who can’t account for what they did and saw on their trip, who instead annoys their friends with descriptions of the trivial and the mundane.
